Okay so. Between shows, since we don't have much time between our afternoon show and our night show - we had a super short, surprise baby shower for Kimmy, since she lives closeby. It was a lot of fun, and she was so surprised! It was really just us from work going to Marie's house after we were let off.
Tonight's show was fucking hectic. Wacky, crazy younger people drunk out of their god damned minds. So much stress for us, having to deal with them on top of everything else.
BUT MOSTLY TODAY.
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BABY SHOWER. Dwain was checking the news on his phone or something, and out of nowhere he lets out a GASP and we are like ???
"BEA ARTHUR DIED"
oh my god oh my fucking god. I JUST GOT HOME LIKE 20 MINUTES AGO FOR THE FIRST TIME ALL DAY I HAD TO SEE IT WITH MY OWN EYES OH MY GOD. ;________________; Me and Joseph saw her thing on Broadway a few years ago and and AAAAAAAAHHHHHH. Sob. My soul is shattered.
