So the new RE title is going to be called Darkside Chronicles. Which is, as many have speculated, basically Umbrella Chronicles 2. The title was posted as a magazine scan in the newest Famitsu, and there's an image floating around of RE2 Leon and Claire, so that much is confirmed. So that plus the probable Code Veronica chapter we are getting, if we add RE4 into that it's going to be a lot of those two, with the possible additions of Wesker of course, Ada and I hope there's a Chris chapter in the CV section.

Additionally, the term "darkside" can be taken to mean that the game will provide a look at some of the unexplored areas of the RE story, along with the darker passages of the characters' histories . The game will also have more of a horror taste than the first."
"While the two wouldn't state the specific titles that will be covered in the game, they did confirm that scenarios from games other than RE2 will definitely make the cut. Expect to see a variety of characters, including RE2's Sherry Birkin."
I AM EXCITED. We're getting RE5 FRIDAY and already have an upcoming game to flail about. I can't wait to see and hear more about it. ♥ It sounds like it's going to be the same formula as UC overall, which is cool with me. I WANT IT.
There's also a load of downloadable content confirmed for RE5. So far only confirmed for the PS3 version but I'd assume the 360 will get it too.
