COMPUTER CAME OOOOH MY GOD IT'S SO NEW AND SHINY AND HOLY SHIT THIS MONITOR--

All of my layouts are so tiny on it, what is this. D: I-is that how they always looked to other people because oh my gosh.

Of course my transfer cable doesn't work, because my old computer does not have enough RAM to run it. >_>; I have a 1GB chip and a USB port that I use for my R4, so I am transferring things slowly with that. Which is all good, but ... still. Lame, I need to sell this cable now since I can't even use it.

The speakers were oddly my biggest surprise. I had a left and right speaker, and was like "... why is this box so big then?" There is a huge huge sub speaker thing included with it.

NOW I NEED TO GET PROGRAMS AND STUFF AGAIN ... like PSP and PS and ... everything ever ... sob!! This will be fun.

Better look at the Hot Toys. Holy balls I want Chris. I WISH THEY MADE A WESKER ONE, I would give my tits for a Wesker one please make a Wesker one. :(

DSC site is open now. With a trailer, a couple of nice hi-res images and some kick ass music. We also have a blog for it. o/ The first update makes me pants-happy and omg I cannot wait to play this game.

Today we went downtown for stuff, browsed the farmer's market in Union Square, stopped in a few other stores. It was so nice out today, too, so I enjoyed it greatly.

In other news, my show is officially making a cast recording. This makes me so happy nobody has any idea oh my god.

Tonight was awesome, I am so, SO happy that this movie had a special premiere here and that I was lucky enough to get to see it. And I can't wait to get it when it comes out to watch it all over again (and ogle the extras). And o man I just love this series to death. ♥

Aaah, the next two weeks are going to be so much fun! Tomorrow after voting, Joseph and I are going on an adventure together for free stuff. And then going to this place in SoHo because apparently for proof of voting they are giving out ... free vibrators. And we are just like ... WHAT SERIOUSLY. WE SHOULD GO SEE IF THIS IS TRUE and then tell everyone we know we got free vibrators for voting if it's true. Also because we are secretly 12 inside so are like "lol vibrators!!1" Pictures of tomorrow's shenanigans will be taken.

Then he said, since work schedules and stuff are lame, he is having a thing on Thursday for election day, so I am definitely going to that to party hard with everyone. That is so much fun so far, and then this Saturday is another global protest, which are always just great fun. And the following Thursday is DEGENERATION PREMIERE. 8D 8D 8D!! I need to print out my ticket for it soon, sob at lack of a printer.

Money-wise, while I am GOOD for the month of November already in terms of my share of the life-needs (as I stress as always that my mom will make sure to cover her share with no stress or problems. Lol!!1), I already reached by limit of stuff to use money on aside. The Degeneration ticket, I caved and ordered Cry-Baby's final performance on DVD from someone. I got my drinks for tomorrow earlier and sob, Baileys so expensive. I also ordered the new SEED calendar (PICTURES IN gundamseed OH THOSE ADORABLE YOUNG ZAFT BOYS ♥ ♥) and the Carols for a Cure CD. And I didn't go shopping for clothes today due to Stuff That Stopped It From Happening, so that will be later in the week, perhaps. And yes, money for that too which is why I am like OKAY NO MORE STUFF SINCE IT'S ONLY THE 3RD. And to top that off at the start of next month, I need to renew yzak.nu since it's been two years already! Which won't be a terribly huge price, but still. I need to curb my OMG SHINY THINGS WANT temptations. Even though omg shiny things want.

I will close with what the hell end of Resident Evil Gaiden. THAT WAS SO STUPID AND TERRIBLE AND I LOVE IT. But wtf THE BOW HAS GREEN BLOOD. Leon going "OKAY GUYS LET'S GO HOME" and ... a close up on his neck bleeding and omg green blood! After the BOW showed that it could ... pose as a human and did so as both Lucia and Leon at points in the game. Which raises the question of IF THAT'S THE BOW AND THE SHIP EXPLODED IS LEON DEAD? But then you go oh who cares because that game isn't canon anyway and was just sort of ridiculous. But still, lol.

So today I was walking down 5th avenue to Asahiya. Mostly to check if they had the new Gundam ACE in stock yet so I could flip through and see if they had previews of the SEED calendar because it's out in like ... two weeks and there have been none yet WHAT IS THIS MADNESS. :( They didn't have the book in stock, WOE. There's a Barnes and Noble right around the corner, so with a SUDDEN STROKE OF GENIUS, I went there to get the missing book of my Resident Evil novel collection.



Uhuhu moar Billy time. But yes, I'm somewhat of a fan of the novels! They are pretty good in terms of being based off of the canon, even though the author adds extra characters and elements that the real canon winds up contradicting, and a couple of the books were completely original stories with the canon characters. Underworld was good, Caliban Cove ... XD; CALIBAN COVE HAD LIKE INTELLIGENT GUN-WIELDING SPEAKING ZOMBIES, THAT'S ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID ABOUT THAT. But yeah, overall the novels touch me good since especially for someone who RPs a character with not too much canon, they provide fun extra tidbits that I could use.

This of course isn't counting Perry's noveliazion of the movies which I never read. XD The only movie I actually liked was the one with Nemesis and all the 3 characters, JILL CARLOS AAAH. Since ... 3 is the game that's my baby so it made me geek so much inside and also Carlos was badass in it and had a death worthy of his awesomeness in any form. And they got the best actress for Jill, god she looks PERFECT I would also tap that.

But yes. Zero novel! o/ I should read these books again. I want to replay Zero again, too. but I am still playing Gaiden and am like >( since the game screwed up so now I have to replay through all this stuff.

Uuh what else has been happening. Blah blah work, stupid sexy Ace, icon (and keywords) related. Though Broadway is being its awesome self and doing their donations that they do ... I think twice a year? So after the show now, they talk a little, mostly just Kirsten and Ace ... Kirsten goes "okay I'll hand it over the Ace now since you all want to hear him more than me" (cue fangirl screams from audience orz) and then she takes off his jacket to make them scream more (I APPROVE). ... and then she tries to take his shirt off going "TAKE IT ALL OFF" and oh God.

But yeah, they do this twice a year to help out families of people who have HIV/AIDS, breast and ovarian cancer, and some of the cast come out to the back with the buckets for people and it's all good and swell! All of the tips I make for the duration of this are going there. They also have Carols for a Cure, a CD they do every year where the different casts from shows sing a bunch of Christmas songs. I am ordering my copy this week! Grease is doing The First Noel, and yayayay Ace. Am also interested in a few other tracks on there.

And I think that is all, save for this :| at something aside. I NEED TO PLAY SOME VIDYA GAMES. Gaiden and Rhapsody in specific (since I did a speedrun through a new game of Rhapsody last night to that point since my game got that FUCKING GLITCH THERE AUGH).

The New York Anime Festival was this weekend! And I had an absolute blast. Brad Swaile is my soulmate and Rie Tanaka is the cutest thing ever. And I only got TWO THINGS FROM THE WHOLE CON. Omfg go me.

SUDDENLY, DICKS TWO JOBS.

Perfect timing because on the way to my interview, I stopped in my local anime store. Pretty Tieria figure and the 00 Haro were in stock (and the 1/100 Virtue/Nadleeh, but I held out against the urge. I still have an unfinished Destiny model here, damn it. Also, it's $50 since it's both versions of the suit). I almost said fuck it and charged both right there but I was like NO UWA MUST HOLD OUT. But I know what some of my monies is going to next week other than saving up for July events (and LJ nameswap), now. Both orientations are tomorrow.

That, and plans for this weekend involving street crawling, fliers and hidden identities will result in A+.
