Getting right to the point. Would anybody out there want to translate two songs for moi? The songs in question are Koori no Manazashi and Yume De Orasenai from Resident Evil, the opening and ending songs from the first games. Corny but awesome and catchy as hell. You can download them both here!
The main reason of course is because I would love a proper translation for them.
And the other is because I, when bored enough, wind up sitting down and trying to translating songs myself. From the lyrics linked above. I use translators and my dictionaries and see if I can get a jist of it, and it's just fun to see how much I got right, because I try to piece together and best-guess where I can and try to make lines sound pretty. And I just found the old try I did with these two songs, and liked the results! So got all curious again. And want to lol at everything I got SO WRONG.
I did attempt to ask elsewhere a little back, on a forum. But of course I got the "use online translators you will get the point!" and. Augh. Yes but what I asked for when I posted was a ... and this may shock you, a PROPER translation. Anybody can do that but it could be TOTALLY WRONG and it's hard to make sense of words sometimes, because translators like that are not always on the dot or don't recognize certain words at all and. Yes. POINT BEING I asked for that and orzd at the fail I got in response.
Of course I'm cool with a quick and dirty one, just something from someone with more knowledge of the moonspeak than I. Though I am cool if nobody wants to since. Yes, TLing can be work and I don't want to make anyone stress out over TLing something since it can be stressful or difficult sometimes. o/ And can keep badgering forums and the like until I get someone there. CAUSE SERIOUSLY RE FANDOM WHY HAVE NONE OF YOU GOTTEN TO THIS YET. I KNOW THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE WHO CAN. :( DON'T MAKE ME BREAK OUT MY SEXY CHARM ON YOU UNTIL YOU DO.
Especially because my sexy charm isn't really sexy.
