First, the work front. As if Sunday night and the gas leak wasn't ADVENTURE WORTHY ENOUGH, tonight kept up the lols. The curtain we have for Grease is like ... window-shade like. Papery and there's a huge picture of the school on it - people like taking pictures of it! It is swell.
Intermission comes along, and the curtain goes down. Only like ... and note that I stand in the BACK of the theater, and I can see it from all the way back there. There is a GIANT WATERBUG ON THE CUTRAIN and it's all. Walkin' around, hanging out and looks like it is going to Rydell High, and everybody is like OMG EW and I am just happy I am all the way in the back because I would have been a screaming little girl. But yeah, it's walking around, eventually goes onto the stage and the edge of the stage where the audience is, and some guy takes his Playbill and KILLS THAT FUCKER. Cue applause from the people sitting in their seats.
Also a guy I work with had Twilight with him to read at work. I laughed because thanks to fandomsecrets alone I can spot that cover from a mile away. T-then when people asked him what it was about and he said he just started but explained it. And mentioned the vampires and I am sitting there trying not to LAUGH MY ASS OFF.
And now in video game news. Because a luck out trip to /v/ resulted in a streaming radio URL and fun times as so many nostalgic game songs played. I went crazy finding a bunch of mp3s (Castlevania IV and SOTN, Mario RPG ROSE TOWN GENO'S FOREST FUCK YEAH. Donkey Kong, Wave Race 64, THE WORKS.) And then I went and gathered the games I want to replay because it got me all excited. Moreso than I was the other week when I marathoned Phantasy Star IV in 3 days. And then I took a picture.

So much epicness in all of these games. Like ANIMAL ANTICS in DKC, Star Ocean's BATTLE SYSTEM. LoD'S too. Castlevania IV is one of my favorites ever because it's so FUN and has great music. And then SOTN with awesome transformations, and how you get to the top of the castle and BITCH YOU'RE GOING THROUGH IT AGAIN, ONLY UPSIDE DOWN NOW. And I already mentioned Conker under the cut, but it's worth emphasizing that. "AND SHOVE IT UP MY BUTT" "your butt?" "THAT'S RIGHT MY BUTT" "your butt?" "MY BUUUUUUUUUUTT!!"
Or course currently I'm replaying through RE4 only because I have unlimited ammo'd Chicago Typewriter and felt like breezing through it to just shoot bitches and fuckown everything in my path. On the subject of RE it has turned me into a forumhooker again. \o/ THIS ALL OF COURSE MAKES ME SAD that I have no supernearby fellow gamewhores, since my cousin doesn't play much anymore. But oman, some multiplayer games out there - Goldeneye and Bomberman for the 64 come to mind, we used to have sleepovers and play them until 4 in the morning.
I need to think of more games I want to go searching OST mp3s for.
