Lol possible FUTURE EVENTS ASIDE.
Image Anime moved their store! I had an adventure two days ago that SUCKED SUCKED SUCKED and ended in my walking and going to many many places - including passing where IA used to be, seeing the whole area it was in being gone, and just going "... D:!!". But yes, they moved about a block up from their old location. So I checked it out! It's a little bigger than their old store, very nice! Got the Xenosaga Anime DVD volume 2 and my ticket for the anime con I just found out about last week that's coming up on the 7th.
The Xenosaga anime as GLORIOUS just like the first one. S-Some of those lines, I just - hahahaha. Am a little :\ on Gaignun's new voice, but that is sort of near impossible to be helped, considering. Crispy. >D ALLEN AND SCOTT WERE GOLD, Jr. was called a BASTARD SON!!
I have clips from both volumes [right here] for anyone interested! o/
In other news. This is how the story goes. Last year ... around the end of December, I got myself a Wii. Three days ago ... CLOSE TO A YEAR LATER, I got my first game for it - Twilight Princess. Then as you can see in my last post, I spazzed over the new Resident Evil game ... and then found out it came out just the day before. So uh today I uh. Uh. ANYWAY I have two games now, FINALLY! \o\
So here is my gaming log of both, this far. ♥
AWESOME GAME SO FAR. I started out a little :\? with it, but then I went into Twilight Hyrule. AS A WOLF. (but a wolf?! joke goes here so much, seriously) I have a secret gaming fetish with animals. I love love LOVE when games either let you ride or turn into animals, or fly. I played Drakan: The Ancients' Gate and Dragon Rage MAINLY because I love dragons - but also because you can fly in them. Twilight Princess started off with Epona and then I WAS A FREAKING WOLF and it was AWESOME. So the game quickly touched all my good buttons.
Link is Dearka - voice wise so that just amuses me to no end and him running into trees is A++. Midna is kind of adorable, but more of a I will CUT YOU BITCH HELP ME OUT SOME kind of adorable. But she's better than Navi was. :( SO FAR I have just finished the whole first Forest Temple. I like the weapons system and am finally learning - SUPER LATE - how cool the Wii implements the gaming with the Wiimote.
But yes! Not so much anything with the story yet, since I'm still at the semi-beginning, but it's promising so far. That and mom called me a retard when I was first trying out my sword because I was like YEAAAH SWING SWING SWING.
Eeeee!! My inner fangirl is glowing. RE was my one true video game love until Xenosaga, but man it still knows just where to touch me. So far I just completed the entirety of the first set of missions, which covers Resident Evil 0. Rebecca and Billy, and then the two secret Wesker files.
It was fun! The system is a little blah since you can't move yourself in it, only look a little in directions as you move automatically, like an arcade game, and in true first-person shooter action. So you need to be quick at some points in terms of grabbing an item. You don't get an item menu, so you need to grab healing items off the ground and it auto-heals you. First Aid sprays are now revival things, you grab one and get an auto-revive if you die.
The end of the 0 chapter was cute, since I never finished the game. How Rebecca not only lets Billy go at the end instead of arrest him, but takes his dog tag. ;o; Wesker narrates the whole game, which is kind of. Really. Really. Hot. He mentions Billy not being seen at all since then, buu. :(
Wesker files were interesting! Since it shows what he was up to as the game events were happening. Mostly in 0's case messing up the Spencer Mansion incident, being scolded for it and then punished - in what looked like Mr. X only with Kamina glasses wtf, for the boss fight. Wesker's mission was full of me going eeeeeee! because I have a scary crush on Wesker. ): Accompanied by normal screaming when zombies got ALL UP IN MY FACE!!
I love counterattacking them, though. You do a KARATE KICK on those mofos.
Next up is covering the first game, and I may play later or tomorrow since I just played the whole 0 scenario in one go. XD
