Oh man.

So I'm in between orientations and I WILL JUST POST THIS IRC LOG. Because I caved and got myself the Haro and Tieria figure.

Yzak: I just got myself a Haro and a Tieria figure. And the guy (at the register) was like THIS FIGURE IS POPULAR WHY IS HE POPULAR
Yzak: So I had to explain Tieria to this man.
Yzak: IT WAS SORT OF HILARIOUS

Yzak: HE IS VERY FEM LOOKING AND A LOT OF FANS... LIKE THAT? ALSO HE WEARS PINK CARDIGANS. AND HE'S FUN TO LAUGH AT
Yzak: then he asked which gundam he piloted
Yzak: and lol'd when I said Virtue
Yzak: cause then I was like the one that TURNS INTO A GIRL GUNDAM WITH HAIR


That was possibly the greatest trip to my local anime store ever.

Haha today oh god I am so tired. XD

FIRST was the orientation at the soup place. WE GOTS FREE SOUPS and it was nummies. The store has got a few different locations. MOST OF WHICH ARE IN MIDTOWN, VERY CLOSE TO MY HOUSE. Walking distance even. The only place that my hours matched up with/place that needed my position? AT THE ASS END OF THE CITY. If you look at a map of Manhattan, it's AT THE VERY BOTTOM, right near the South Ferry. AUUUU I would have LOVED not to have to travel. And being currently without my trusty iPod, I am going to HATE TRAINING DOWNTOWN EVEN MORE. XD But I go tomorrow morning for my first training. And we'll see how it goes until the end of June.

Then after a couple-hour break in between, I went to my training at the theaters. Which was fun! I WAS SO CLOSE. SO CLOSE, because the woman there actually sent us to train at a theater THAT NIGHT. And one of the theaters that needed an extra was THE GERSHWIN. WICKED. WHAT I WOULD HAVE GIVEN TO LUCK OUT BECAUSE KJHESKJHF IT'S BEEN YEARS SINCE I WORKED THERE, way back when they still had the OBC. But sadly I was not sent there. XD I WILL SUB THERE SOON ENOUGH and oh my God I CAN'T WAIT. So I went to the Richard Rodgers theater, which ... made me laugh. Because the theater is across the street from the Scientology place. FAMILIAR SCENERY, I lol'd as I walked by. It was so quiet. :x

But yes, the show there is called In the Heights. And it was a pretty good show! I really liked it, and realized how much I just love working in the theaters. I can watch some of these shows over and over, because there's something that much cooler about it being live performances. I've always loved it, I looked forward to going back, and when I was finally there tonight I was just like :D!!!!! It's hard to get me to feel like that about something. And now I'm going to offer to sleep with Martha at the Gershwin to give me spots there because BY GOD WHEN I GET THAT CALL, WHICH I WILL SOONER OR LATER, I WILL EXPLODE WITH JOY AND POSSIBLY ORGASMS.
