ANYWAY to the ep now. I figure I will post from here on instead of waiting to go back to the other eps. All I can say about them is best quote ever in the subject - Hot Pockets are the best weapons ever, and I just love Hurley a whole lot. And Ben. Ben can do me. Also Desmond and Penny are adorable. And Daniel is charming. Also lol time travel.

They got back to the island faster than I anticipated. Back when Ben was told 70 hours, I thought they were going to stretch that out as far as possible through the season.

The Lamppost was just weird, though I lol'd hard at "Did you know about this place?" "No." "Is he lying?" "PROBABLY." God I love Ben SO MUCH. I bawww'd a lot at Eloise telling Jack about Locke's suicide. >: Mai boyfriendo.

SHOES THING WAS CREEPY even though ... just as I mentioned this in the IRC channel Jack said "I bet you're laughing your ass off at me right now" to Locke and I cracked up.

Jack and Kate stop making out and doing it when something is OBVIOUSLY WRONG. Jack just seemed so dismissive to SOMETHING HAS HAPPENED TO AARON because Kate was like "oho I will distract him with MY BOOBS!" I know Kate DIDN'T want him to pry, but ... Aaron. D:

Ben having to "tie up loose ends" makes me fear so much for Penny and Desmond. ;; Especially the next day, he calls Jack and is all beaten up so something went down, regardless of who it was with.

There are also so many interesting things to note about the flight. Sayid was taking Kate's place as being arrested -- I am assuming Ben did something there. Hurley had a guitar case which points to Charlie, I am assuming he had another "talk" with Charlie that got him to finally go. People are speculating Kate is taking Claire's place and she might be preg, which ...makes sense, considering her romp with Jack. I'm not sure what Sun and Jack were supposed to be, if anything specific.

I thought it was adorable how Hurley stopped more people from dying by buying all the seats in first class. >:

Althooooooough now I wonder about things! Ben wasn't supposed to be the one to turn the giant magical wheel the first time, and was not supposed to return to the island. So I wonder if him being on the plane screwed something up.

Which seems to be the case! The buggy and Jin's INCOGNITONESS imply they are all the way back in the past. I was assuming here that when the O6 got back to the island - the "window" was a time where the time travelers would flash to a current time, and them meeting up with the O6 within that window would stop the time travel and they would all be where they should be - in the present. (as much as present is ... present, for the time travelers, since the time didn't pass much for them at all. Which is funny because I was like "Jin's going to be like what the fuck when he finds out how old his child is")

So lack of Aaron and addition of Ben make me think that that's the cause for what's happening. And that the plane didn't APPEAR to crash? From what it sounds like. IF THAT IS THE CASE. I only assumed the time flashes would stop once they met up again, they might get to present time again another way. The beginning of season 1 with Daniel in the Dharma outfit seemed to point to that they were going to be in the past for a while, though, so. (and Daniel needs to meet young Charlotte. Since he hadn't yet. And now knows he has to)

Also lol Jack got owned by a dead guy's letter.

AND LAPIDUS AS THE PILOT HEEE ♥ ... though oh God I hope he doesn't die.

And the preview for next week. FUCK YEAH LOCKE REVIVAL. \o/ And ... hanging himself? LOCKE AND BEN ARE GETTING KINKY WITH ROPES that is all I get from it.

Lost makes my head explode. I love it.

My favorite part of the episode (aside from all the YAY STUFF HAPPENING) was Jack and Ben's exchange on the plane.

Epileptic tree of the moment -- I would presume to make things 'as close to the original event as possible", Kate needs to be a proxy for Claire, and thusly is preggers. Hurrrr. Maybe Jin's learned enough English to be a relevant character to the writers more often now.

Haha ... HAHA the series goes all over the place from the initial CRASHED ON AN ISLAND WITH OTHERS WHO ARE POSSIBLY HOSTILE ON IT.

But the short version is MAD SHIT WENT DOWN, Ben has a mortal enemy who tried to cover up the crash and kill everyone on the island. People managed to get off, but more crazy shit happened and the people left on the island were caught in crazy time traveling adventures through different time periods of the island because something went WRONG and the people who got off the island shouldn't have left. So Ben goes to get them all back to stop the crazy time traveling since all of the people time traveling would have died if it went on for too long. And while he does that Locke goes back to try to convince them too and kills himself and they just went back, only they're somehow in like 1970 and Locke is apparently ALIIIIIVE AGAIN because he's like Jesus. IT IS OF COURSE MUCH MORE COMPLEX THAT THIS but. It's Lost so I'd take forever to try explaining everything.
